These taste great, follow the directions, but like all freeze dried meals you might b want to add at least 5 more minutes to the cook time.

Great meal for backpacking

This was easily one of the best backpacking meals I've had. It reconstituted like it was never freeze dried. Also, this was a lot of food, it definitely filled me up and kept me full for a long time.

Best "add hot water" meal I ever had.

I never really enjoyed camp food since it's just food that you had in the cooler so it's stale or campfire food. I had these at home and I was surprised. I would say it's not that far from a nice restaurant. It's rich and complex, you can taste a lot of care went into the ingredient list. I have also tried Mushroom Pasta variety and really enjoyed that one. While it's quite a premium, the tastiness and convenience of having something so easy to heat and eat anywhere makes it a compelling option for my next camping or hiking trip.

Impressed with these bighorn meals, they will last a very long time and they taste great. I'll be sure to keep a few around in case of emergencies.

This tasted like restaurant quality pasta carbonara, not just a cheesy pasta dish. The pasta hydrated perfectly and the sauce was creamy and delicious just like a carbonara should be. Love this quality new brand.
